We are so thankful for the care we received for our sweet Kona! Dr Milot and her staff are amazing! If not for her dedication and expertise we would have lost our little girl. She is with you every step of the way, lab work, tests, referrals, surgery, follow up phone calls. We had one sick pup and now she is thriving, playful and back to herself enjoying life!
I just want to say how thankful I am to Rush veterinary center. I recently had to send my dog over the rainbow bridge and the staff was so helpful and compassionate towards my dog and family. They all were so kind, and loving toward my dog. It makes a person feel so nice! I had a breakdown during a conversation and they talked me through it and gave me privacy and comforted my family and I throughout the entire process! I felt so respected and taken care of here and I felt the same leaving my dog in the care of them. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier. Compassion goes a long way and your team exceeded my expectations! I would recommend anyone to go here!
This vet office was the only place that would see my dog right away for a medical emergency. The doctor was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Our pup had to be hospitalized for 2 nights for a gastric issue but they made it affordable for us. Happy to say that our little guy is doing much better thanks to this amazing group of caring people! Thank you so much Rush Veterinary Center!
Dr Milot is such an amazing vet. She's so kind and comforting to my Carly who gets super stressed leaving the house. I would recommend her to anyone!!!
Excellent Doctors, cared for many of my cats, one they went over and beyond because I could not give him his needed meds, than could not get him in crate, so they let me board the cat at good price. Was returned home on special diet food, which is what he needed. Now I am bringing my two pups there for also good care. Love Dr M, she is my favorite, Techs also excellent.
Empathy poured out of every single employee. I brought my dog there who was sick and we discovered cancer. The news was devastating. I appreciated the staff’s comforting words during this difficult time!!
Rush Veterinary Center got Burma in immediately to have his ear repaired the first time, They released him home on meds. A few days later his ear ripped open again due to the pressure, I called, and the vet asked for a picture, sent the picture to the staff and that night they asked me to bring him in. They kept him over night and got him all fixed up. His stitches recently were removed and they took very very good care of him. They are very understanding and strive to make sure that your pets are taken care of as soon as possible. Recommend Rush to everyone...
Unprofessional and disgruntled staff. Take note that when you call, they are recording your conversation. This is because of complaints of the staff and how they speak to people. My most recent situation with Rush occurred a few weeks ago. My dog had been a patient for years. She’s old and was acting strangely. I called first thing in the morning to get a sick appointment and was told they didn’t have an appointment for three weeks during the time frame I requested. The unpleasant receptionist said she would call me back to see if I could be fit in anywhere sooner. I called back later in the day (since I hadn’t heard anything back) to see if she had heard anything and she said “No, I haven’t heard anything.” I was upset at this curt response but still calm and we hung up. I called back quickly after that to see if they had any availability for a different time frame. The more pleasant receptionist who answered this time was shocked when I asked if my dog could be seen within a few days during a different timeframe. The more pleasant receptionist then transferred me to the original disgruntled receptionist and who told me that the doctor said “You need to be more patient” in regards to getting a call back about an appointment. When I calmly said I was really unhappy with the treatment I was getting, I was then told “You can switch practices.” I was literally just trying to get a sick appointment in an appropriate amount of days. This was not the first time I had difficulty with the office staff when trying to schedule an appointment for a sick visit. I understand having to deal with the general public is challenging, but treating people with decency would be nice especially when you know most people calling are concerned about their animal’s well being. I did switch practices to an animal hospital that was accepting new patients and had much better hours. My dog was seen promptly—luckily! My instincts were right. She high kidney levels and needed antibiotics which was likely why she was acting strangely. On numerous occasions, I sat in the waiting room at Rush (for long periods of time) and witnessed the staff being rude to customers. I have also heard of others who have been unhappy with the treatment they received. Dr. Lori is a talented and caring veterinarian (which is probably why the reviews are good for Rush) but her office staff is ungracious to say the least. Concerned animal owners shouldn’t have to deal with that treatment.
